"Can't speak highly enough about our experience with H&R Homes and Construction. My wife and I interviewed several builders across Metro Atlanta before choosing Gary with HR Homes to build our forever home. What stood out from the beginning was his sincerity and his experience building custom homes on challenging properties such as ours. We chose our own plans and due to the grade of the property had to modify quite a bit. What we originally thought to be a problem was actually a blessing as we gained 500 square feet and what is now our favorite room of the house. With every phase of construction Gary gave us more than adequate information as well as several choices in materials and sub contractors with reviews and recommendations on each. Ultimately we did go over our original budget all do to our choices on upgrading accents we though were important. We only had one issue after six months of living in the house. Our tank less water heater kept shutting down and after repeated attempts to get warranty repairs Gary stepped in and had the plumbing company install a different make/ model water heater at no cost to us. There have been no issues since and have been in the home almost two years. We are very happy with our home and if we ever decided to build again I'd certainly choose Gary with HR Homes."

"At the beginning of our building process we interviewed several builders. Many seemed good and capable. Obviously all promised the best house. We chose Gary Rymer because we sensed an honesty and forthrightness about him. He told us there would be days when we would love him and days when we might hate him. He was accurate, but we can honestly say the days we loved him far outweighed the other days. Gary walked us thru the building process; updating us regularly as we needed; flexing with us when we changed our minds; cautioning us about foolish paths we thought about heading down; returning after the completion to fix any problems; and all within a price that was reasonable and less than many other builders. The answer is “Yes, we would hire him again” and “Yes, we actually did recommend him to our son and his wife.” He has since built their house also."
